Australian golf will for the first time in history join other national sports in honouring its best (professional golfer) with the launch by the PGA of Australia of a new award.
To be called the Greg Norman Medal, the inaugural award will be presented to the best male or female professional golfer on the world stage in 2015 at a gala awards night in December.
