Joining the Tour in 2004 Spargo then took a break in 2008 where he pursued a plumbing apprenticeship. Retuning to the Tour in 2009 Spargo's best performance came at the 2011 Victorian Open where he finished T21. Has also competed on the OneAsia tour finishing 70th on the Order of Merit in 2011. In 2014, Spargo finished T3 in the WA Open Championship and later that year finished T5 at the BetEasy Masters.
