Rod Pampling has experienced a successful career on the PGA TOUR notching two victories however unfortunately lost his status at the end of the 2013 season. In 2014 he spent the year competing predominantly on the Web.com Tour but also earned some sponsor invites on the main Tour as he looked to regain his card.
Completing a Traineeship with the PGA of Australia, Rod is one of the few Tour Professionals that is also a fully qualified Vocational PGA Professional. He is a strong supporter of Australian golf regularly featuring prominently at PGA Tour of Australasia tournaments as well as remembering his roots where in Queensland the PGA Trainee Matchplay tournament is named the Rod Pampling Plate in his honour.
Winner of the 2008 Sportsbet Australian Masters in a playoff.
Rod has recorded three PGA Tour victories including the 2006 Bay Hill Invitational
