The next wave of Australian golf professionals will soon be teeing off their careers as applications open today for the 2019 PGA Trainee Program.

"GolfThe PGA of Australia Trainee Program is suited to golfers who have a desire to translate their passion for golf into a career as a golf coach, teaching professional, head professional, director of golf, golf club general manager, golf services manager or a myriad of other occupations which are made possible as a vocational professional of the PGA of Australia.

Dedicated to developing individuals who have a passion for a career in golf, the PGA of Australia is renowned as a world leader in golf education and training.

While many golfers may set their sights on playing on Tour, a variety of additional specialist career opportunities exist within the golf industry. The PGA provides education solutions to assist individuals to reach their career potential through its multiple educational program pathways including;

  • PGA Trainee Program (delivered nationally)
  • PGA IGI Golf Management Programs (Gold Coast Campus and e-Learning)
  • PGA Golf Performance Program (Melbourne Campus)

All PGA training and education programs are designed with career outcomes as the foundation for development.  As the peak body for professional golf in Australia, the PGA has access to a range of opportunities that provide benefits for its students, including access to industry specialists in a variety of areas, work-placements for students, professional tournament access, game development opportunities and a customised e-learning platform.

  • Thursday 26 July – WA (Wembley GC; 6:00pm)
