The PGA/ALPG v Golf WA Challenge was massive success once again, with the ALPG Professionals joining the men for the first time.

""Being played at Royal Perth Golf Club, the best male and female Professional golfers went head to head with the rising stars of West Australian amateur golf with foursomes matches played in the morning followed by singles in the afternoon.

The Professionals again showed their class, recording a dominant win over the best WA amateurs.

Taking control in the morning foursomes the Professionals lead into the afternoon 4.5 to 2.5.

They never took their foot off the gas and dominated the singles 10 to 3.

Early wins were put on the board by Jarryd Felton winning on his birthday 5&3 against up and coming star Cooper Geddes and Jason Scrivener 3&2 over newly crowned State Amateur Champion Kiran Day.

ALPG/PGA women won four of the five afternoon matches highlighted by the big win of Breanna Gill over the in-form Katherine Norris 6&5.

Brett Rumford fought back against Min Woo Lee to win 1UP and silence the 8&6 loss to the young gun last year.

The Professionals won overall 14.5 to 5.5 to record back to back wins in the showdown.
