The 2018 Better Homes Pro-Am again attracted some of the best golfers from around Australia.

After round one the field had to chase Neven Basic who made the most of the morning conditions posting 5-under 66.

Players on the final day were greeted with much tougher conditions with the coastal breeze whipping across the golf course.

Through the turn, Jordan Mullaney and Darren Beck had cleared away from the pack to fight out the title.

Mullaney made the turn at  6-under and Beck at 5-under for the tournament. They were the only players out of the top five groups that were under par for the day.

Mullaney held onto to his lead around the tough back nine and seal his victory with an impressive birdie on the final hole. His 67,68 7-under 135 total gave him a two-stroke victory over Beck.

“I’ve been coming up to this event over the past few years and the golf course is always in great conditions and fun to play. It’s a great field and I’m glad I could hold on round the back nine and take the victory," said Mullaney.

Beck finished in second with 5-under 137 total

Tied third on 4-under 138 was overnight leader Neven Basic and Matthew Stieger who’s final round 65 was the best of the tournament.
