Each year in WA following the Annual State Meeting (ASM) PGA Professionals hit the course to decide the WA PGA Foursomes Championship.

""In 2018 the Western Australian Golf Club played host to the ASM and the championship. It was a great event with some of the in-form players from the current Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series WA Swing taking their places in the field on an immaculate golf course.

The two WAGC locals Matt Wolfe and Andrew MacAuslan posted a great 1-over 71 before ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia players Rick Kulacz and Daniel Fox pipped them by one shot for outright third place on even par 70.

But it was the teams of David Andrews and Brad Moules and Michael Long and Greg McClurkin who were tied on 1-under 69 that had to head back on course to the short par-3 16th to play off for the Championship.

On the first playoff hole both pairs made par, on the second hole Long and McClurkin couldn’t manage to match Moules and Andres’ regulation par, therefore, crowning them the 2018 WA PGA Foursomes Champions.
