""Matt Millar thrived in the conditions and continued his fine form with a 2-under 66 to finish at 14-under the card.

Millar started his final round a little shaky and was 1-over through five holes before he steadied to fire four back-9 birdies to claim a comfortable victory.

Millar’s rounds of 61, 63 and 66 handed him a seven shot victory over Ruben Lal who finished 7-under the card.

Rory Bourke had a double bogey on the last to drop to third place at 6-under the card.

Scott Laycock fired 2-under 66 with a great 4-under 30 on the back-9 to finish outright fourth while Ben Ford fired the low round of the day with 4-under 64 in the final round.

Max McCardle was the winner of the “Shoot-Out” nearest the pin competition held on the 18th hole at the completion of play from 75 metres away.

The South Australian knocked his approach shot to within 40 centimetres in front of a huge gallery to win the $500 prize on offer.
