Winter looks to be on its way in Perth with players facing a tough, cold, windy and showery day for the time on the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series WA Swing.

""Gosnells Golf Club’s superbly presented course stood the test and allowed players to complete their round despite doubts early in the morning.

With winds hitting 50 kilometres per hour and hard rain at times, getting the round completed was a win itself but with that came some very good scoring.

Cameron John and Andrew Crabb posted admirable 2-over 72 to share 5th place then tied for second on 1-over 71 was the group of Rick Kulacz, inform Ladbrokes Legends Tour player Stephen Herbert and Gosnells local Jarryd Felton.

The man that came out on top of a very tough day was the in-form Michael Long, he continued his amazing form posting a very decent even par 70.

“Big thank you to all involved at Gosnells, unfortunately, the weather was not the greatest but the event itself was. Phil and his green staff need a big congratulations on getting the course even playable for the day,” said Long

If Long continues this great form there is no doubt he’ll be teeing it up on the lucrative Champions Tour next year as he begins the next phase of his already successful playing career.
