Rick Coleman and Troy Moses have tied for the win at the Dallas Building Pro-Am at Northern Golf Club in Glenroy, winning the event with scores of 5-under 67.
Setting the standard early in the day, Coleman was the best of the morning field in blustery conditions.
“I have just returned from Tasmania and it was my first look at the course,” said Coleman.
“I managed to get the best of the conditions in the morning and I’m glad I held on for the win. The course was fantastic and extremely underrated,” he added, also impressed by the course’s new clubhouse opened in October.
One of the last cards to be entered in the event, New South Welshman Troy Moses impressed on firm, fast greens to equal the lead alongside Coleman.
“I missed out on the NZ Open this week so decided to try my luck down here,” said Moses.
“The course was in great shape and I’m glad I made the trip.
“Thanks to Sam from Dallas Builders for sponsoring.”
Andrew Kelly’s strong form continued in his return to Victoria, finishing his round tied for third place at 4-under 68 alongside an in-form Ryan Lynch.
The Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series makes its next stop at RACV Cape Schanck Resort for the RACV Cape Schanck Battle on 27 February, 2019.
