Victorian Michael Choi ran away with the 2018 Mack Hall TSA Cottesloe Open title recording a three-shot victory at Cottesloe Golf Club over the weekend.

""Choi took advantage of perfect conditions in the opening round and recorded an impressive 5-under 67 to share the overnight lead with fellow Victorian, amateur Shane Feldman.

With 29 players within 5 shots of the leaders, the final round was set for a fantastic finish where yet another name will be added to the illustrious honour board.

While the sun disappeared and rain arrived at Cottesloe GC, it couldn’t dampen the scoring with great golf being played.

Victorian Peter Wilson and Tasmanian Simon Hawkes posted great second rounds of 4-under 68 to tie for second.

But it was overnight leader Choi who posted a final round of 4-under 68 to close the door on anyone else’s title chances and slip the 2018 winners blue jacket on himself finishing 9-under the card.

Wilson and Hawkes finished three shots further back at 6-under the card while Dimitrios Papadatos took fourth at 4-under the card.

Rick Kulacz rounds out the top-5 finishing 3-under the card.

In the Seniors event, Peter Fowler posted a second even-par round of 72 to leapfrog overnight leader Mike Harwood and win the title by one shot.
