""With a round of 1-under 71, Bunny and Harris recorded a two-shot victory over the field at the home of the PGA of Australia.

They are regular partners for the event and have close in previous years but this is their first win.

The Bob Shearer Shield honours the Life Member of the PGA who is a multiple Tour winner across the world.

“What an honour to win this event, named after such a legend in Bob,” said Bunny.

“I have had a lot to do with Bob over the years. We are both members of Southern Golf Club and Bob was always around to offer advice or some help when I was growing up.

“It was great to finally win the event with Michael as we had come close in the recent years but just a couple of bad holes had cost us.

“To the course staff here at Sandhurst, well done, this place is looking great and the greens are putting amazingly.”

Bob also turned 70 on Monday and was on hand to present the trophy on Tuesday

The event followed the Victorian Annual State Meeting and the National Annual General Meeting which saw a large turnout of PGA Professionals
