The Castle Hill Country Club has been undergoing course changes over the past few months and the field of 66 professionals were keen to see the changes for the Cranbrook Residences Pro-Am.

Even after a battering of bad weather over recent days the course presented beautifully and taking full advantage of that was local hope Alex Edge.

Edge who has been in great form recently will take a one-shot lead into the final round after his 4-under 64 around the reduced par layout.

Hot on his heels is Jamie Hook who shot 3-under 65.

In third on even par 68 is a chasing pack of nine players

The leaders will tee off at 12:45 today.
