New South Welshman Martin Peterson has won the Victor Harbor Ladbrokes Legends Pro-Am by two shots at Victor Harbor Golf Course yesterday.
Under wet and windy conditions, Peterson was able to rally in his run home scoring 2-under over his final five hole to finish 1-under the card, the only professional under par for the tournament.
While the weather was wild, the Victor Harbor Golf Course held up beautifully, a testament to the hard work from ground staff.
Finishing in a tie for second place was Darryl Purchase and Gary Bruyeres at 1-over the card. Glenn Joyner and Bruce McLean round out the top-5 both finishing at 2-over the card.
The Ladbrokes Legends Tour now travels to Mt Gambier for the MG Plasterers South Australian Seniors PGA Championship at Blue Lake Golf Club from 11-12 May.
