Despite starting and finishing with a 6, Glenn Joyner still managed to secure a four-shot win in the Air Diffusion Agencies Legends Pro-Am at The Vines GC of Reynella.
Joyner shot 3-under 68 to record his win and overcome the 12 strokes he took on his 1st and 18th holes combined, he chalked up six birdies to erase his slow start and finish.
Joyner only flew in from Perth in the morning, his flight arriving at 11:00am resulting in a mad dash to the course for his 12:30 start.
The Vines GC was in magnificent condition and withstood a rain storm that hit mid-afternoon and lasted for around an hour causing uncomfortable conditions for the players.
Tied for 2nd at 1-over was the trio of Mike Harwood, Chris Hollingsworth & Ben Jackson.
Peter Fowler and Martin Peterson rounded out the top-5 at 2-over the card.
