Glenn Joyner shot a round of 4-under 69 to win the $30,000 Bega Cheese Ladbrokes Legends Pro-Am at Tura Beach Country Club.

""In the 27th year of the Pro-Am Ladbrokes Legends event was a great success with Joyner recording a three shot victory over Steven Aisbett, Steve Conran, Mike Harwood, Colin Hunt and Michael Mosher who all finished at 1-under par.

59 senior Professionals competed for the substantial one day purse but it was Joyner’s finish of four birdies in the last six holes that got him over the line.

At a time when the area has been ravaged by bushfires the community and Bega Cheese have rallied to raise money to help those in need.

Both Joyner and Ken Tarling of Canada are staying on as guest speakers at the Golf Club dinner tonight with all proceeds going to the Tathra Bushfire Appeal.

The win has moved Joyner into second place on the Ladbrokes Legends Tour Order of Merit as they move onto Killara for the David Mercer Senior Classic on 5 April where players will compete for the largest one day purse on the Tour, $70,000.

Mike Harwood looking to consolidate his position at number one and claim the exemption into the KitchenAid US PGA Seniors Championship in May.
