Lucien Tinkler has completed a hat-trick of wins on the Ladbrokes Legends Tour after firing consecutive rounds of 4 under par 66 for a 36 hole total of 8 under par 132 to take out the St Georges Basin Legends Pro-Am.
Tinkler arrived at St Georges Basin in great form having registered victories in his previous two starts at Bermagui and Club Catalina, and maintained this to overcome some strong challengers for the title.
Rob Willis finished some 90 minutes prior to the leading groups with an amazing final round of 63, and for a while appeared to have snatched the title from the overnight contenders before Tinkler birdied the final hole to win by a stroke.
Third place on 134 was shared between Andy Rogers who carded a second round of 5-under par 65, and Craig Warren who commenced his final round with a hole in one at the 117 metre par-3 opening hole.
Glenn Joyner and Brad Burns were a further stroke back sharing 5th place on 135. In total 20 players finished under par for the event which demonstrates the level of talent on the Ladbrokes Legends Tour.
The Ladbrokes Legends Tour now moves to the Mollymook Golf Club (Hilltop Course) for the NSW PGA Seniors Championship commencing Friday.
