The Ladbrokes PGA Legends Tour arrived at The Royal Melbourne Golf Club for the Bruce Green Legends Pro-Am.
In its second year the iconic MacKenzie layout attracted a stellar field including Peter Senior, Peter Lonard and Rodger Davis.
The afternoon start saw the players battle temperatures in the high 30s along with the traditional hard and fast greens synonymous with Royal Melbourne.
Defending champion Peter Senior was looking good to make it back to back wins but a bogey, bogey finish saw him slip to 2-under 70 to tie for third with Peter Lonard and Steve Conran.
Five birdies in a round of 69 saw John Onions take second position on his own but it was Mike Harwood who continued his great form, winning for a fifth time in nine starts, firing 4-under 68.
Harwood praised the stellar course conditions at Royal Melbourne while reminiscing of days gone by with retired Club Professional Bruce Green.
