Michael Harwood has returned to the Ladbrokes Legends Tour winners list at the Bendigo Community Bank Strathfield tournament, claiming victory with a round of 6-under 64.
A field of 48 Senior Professionals were greeted by warm and sunny conditions at Strathfield Golf Club, which quickly deteriorated into hot, westerly winds to make scoring difficult.
The wind did little to deter Harwood, however, who further extended his Ladbrokes Legends Tour Order of Merit lead with a four-shot win.
American Richard Gilkey continued his strong form to tie for second place alongside Gregory Hohnen at 2-under the card.
Ben Jackson and Glenn Joyner completed the top-5 in a tie for fourth place with rounds of 1-under 69.
Harwood took home the lion’s share of the $15,000 prizemoney and further cemented his status as the player to beat this year.
