David Fearns has taken a convincing win at the Breakfast Point Realty and Nicholls and Co Charity Golf Day for MS with a round of 8-under 63.
Fearns featured in a field of 32 Senior Professionals in the Ladbrokes Legends Tour event at Concord Golf Club with the aim of raising money for MS.
Perfect weather conditions and an immaculate course greeted Professionals, making scoring easy for Fearns on his way to a six-shot victory, his second in his first full year on the Ladbrokes Legends Tour.
The New South Welshman hit every green in regulation and fired a total of eight birdies; his only blemish coming at the par-5 15th with a three-putt for par.
Brad Burns and Steve Conran tied for second place with rounds of 2-under 69.
Richard Backwell and Michael Harwood rounded out the top-5 with rounds of 1-under 70.
In an event put on for a great cause, the tournament’s motivation came from Breakfast Point Realty Property Specialist Cilla Green and her sister Allison, whose mother suffers from MS.
Fearns thanked all involved in putting on a fantastic event.
