Burns keeps on rolling

Brad Burns has made it four in a row on the Ladbrokes Legends Tour after winning the CMBM Facility Services Legends Pro-Am.

""Burns secured the win following his 3-under par 65 on a shortened City layout for a three-shot win over Craig Warren and Richard Cooney, who shot the low round of the morning field.

The win see Burns extend his lead in the Order of Merit race as the Legends Tour breaks in Queensland for a week.

“It really has been an unbelievable run in recent weeks, a run that I knew was possible with my form, but not one that I thought would become a reality,” said Burns

“The course at City is not long in length, but one you really need to be accurate on. I was able to keep my ball in play for most of the round and it was really pleasing to keep this winning form going.

“I am looking forward to few day off now to recharge the batteries before the Tour tees off again at Bribie Island next week.”

The Ladbrokes PGA Legends Tour now has a five day break before returning to the Moreton Bay region next Thursday for the inaugural Bribie Island Legends Pro-Am.
