Black Bull Golf Club is set to bring back the 2019 Victorian PGA Seniors Championship with Yarrawonga Mulwala Resort to solely host the 2019 Victorian Senior Open.

""The Victorian Senior Open, held across the Black Bull and Yarrawonga courses was awarded 2017 Ladbrokes Legends Pro-Am of the Year with the 2018 edition also played across both venues.

In 2019, the Victorian Senior Open will be held solely at Yarrawonga Mulwala Resort over 36 holes while Black Bull Golf Club hosts the Victorian Senior PGA Seniors Championship, also played over 36 holes.

The Victorian PGA Seniors Championship returns to the Ladbrokes Legends Tour Schedule after an eight year absence. Last held in 2010 at the Dunes Golf Course on the Mornington Peninsula where New Zealander Craig Owen took out the title.

The Ladbrokes Legends Tour events will run consecutively, bringing a feast of golf to the region.

“We’re delighted to welcome the Victorian PGA Seniors Championship back to the Ladbrokes Legends Tour,” said Andy Rogers, Ladbrokes Legends Tour Coordinator at the PGA of Australia.

“It’s a terrific result for the region with some of our greatest golfers on the Tour playing back-to-back events across the Black Bull Golf Club and Yarrawonga Mulwala Resort, both fantastic venues in their own right.”

Both Black Bull and Yarrawonga are excited to have the two events in the area bringing more players for an extended stay and boosting golf tourism in the region.

Head professionals Evan Droop (Yarrawonga) and James McCully (Black Bull) are looking forward to the opportunity to increase the profile of both facilities attracting local businesses and club members along with interstate visitors to join over 60 Senior Professionals from all over Australia in the two exciting events.

Black Bull will kick things off with the Victorian PGA Seniors Championship on January 29 – 30 with Yarrawonga backing up with the Victorian Senior Open from January 31 – February 1.
