New South Welshman Graham Banister has edged Queenslander Stephen Woodhead to take out the Kerry Campbell Homes Fraser Coast Classic Ladbrokes Legends Tour event.
The pair were able to overcome round one leader Scott Ford who shot 3-under 67 including a front-9 of 5-under 30 in the opening 18, he stumbled in the second round shooting 6-over 76 to finish T12.
Banister was able to back up his even opening round with 3-under 67, he and Woodhead the only players to finish the event under par.
Banister said his putting was on and with the help of his wife Jill who was caddying it all came together for the win.
A gallant Peter Senior looked in fine touch in the second round but his 3-under 67 could only get him to T3 alongside fellow Queenslanders Craig Warren and Richard Backwell.
