After a bumpy start to his Champions Tour season last week David McKenzie will be looking for a little more consistency when he tees up at the Chubb Classic in Florida.
A T24 finish at last week’s Boca Raton event laid a good foundation for the year ahead but the popular Australian will be aiming higher this week.
McKenzie proved he can mix it with the best of the over-50’s by earning his card in limited starts last season and he will be keen to go on with the job in 2018.
He will need to be on his game if he hopes to contend this week with a strong field gathered at the Twin Eagles Golf Club in Naples, Florida.
Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie and last week’s winner, Mark Calcavecchia, spearhead a stellar line up at the fourth event of the season.
