Brendan Jones and Matt Griffin were the sole Australian survivors at the Japan Tour’s Top Cup Tokai Classic, the pair finished T47 at 2-over at the Myoshi Country Club West Course.
Both opened with 2-under rounds of 70 but couldn’t better par the rest of the week, Jones closing with scores of 74-72-74 while Griffin signed for 75-73-72.
Four Australians started the week but Kurt Barnes and David Bransdon missed the weekend’s play by one and two shots respectively.
