Trainees representing three different states share the lead after thirty-six holes at the 2012 Rich River Trainee Classic.

Quinton Howe from the Kew Golf Club has taken a two shot lead after the first round of the 2012 Rich River Trainee Classic.

The 2012 Rich River Classic commences on Tuesday 31st January at the Rich River Resort on the Murray River in Moama, New South Wales.

First year Trainee Professional Atomu Watanabe from Horton Park Golf Club has fired an impressive 68 to win the Queensland Trainee Order of Merit Championship for 2011.

The Victorian Trainee playing season came to a close on Monday 28th November at the Portsea Trainee Pro-Am with Latrobe Golf Club’s Toby Wilcox firing a six-under 65 for the outright win.
