Started playing golf age 6, tagging along with his father.... First broke par age 15 at Gailes - shot 4 under.... Attended Kelvin Grove High School in Queensland.... Degree in Business Marketing, University of Minnesota.... Admires: Tiger Woods.... Credits Ian Triggs (coach) as the greatest influence on his career 'for always pointing me in the right direction'. As at 2008 Triggs has coached him for eight years.... Best part of game: Mental game.... When not playing golf likes: to socialize, watch/play other sports, listen to music, watch movies.... Outside of golf what event would he most like to compete in?.... "I think ice hockey looks pretty fun. I wouldn't mind being good at that or maybe play in The Ashes."..... Claimed the Sunset Hills NGA Classic in May in a play off over Kelly Grunewald in May. Other top ten results were Georgia Sports Orthopedic Classic - T4, ComSouth Classic - T5, Gold Strike Casino Classic - T7, Dothan Classic - T9....finished 9th on the Final Money and Points Standings with $USD61, 585.00...... 2008: January: fired eight birdies on the back nine to win the inaugural Smartcup Australian Invitational at Flinders Golf Club in Victoria....... 2007: shot a six-under par final round of 66 to win the PGA Tour of Australasia's Qualifying School tournament at Peninsula Country Golf Club (North Course) in Frankston Victoria romping in to win by ten strokes...... 2007 June: Turned pro. First professional start was at the Buffalo Run Casino Classic on the NGA Hooters Tour. Shot 23-under-par to finish tied second....... 2006: Won the Western Amateur, defeating Oklahoma State’s Pablo Martin in the Match Play Final 2 and 1.
