Comes from a sporting family with his cousin Nathan Chapman a professional AFL player. Coached by correspondence by renowned teacher Dale Lynch in Australia. Highlights: 2007: Plans to play Pro-Ams and Von Nida Tour events in Australia. Finished T20 at season opening nab Victorian PGA Championship. Played seven events on the Australasian Tour in 2004 with best result T 24 at Heineken Classic. Earned a place on The 2004 European Tour International Schedule after progressing through the Qualifying School Finals with the 29th card. Best result in Europe in 2004 T13 at European Masters. Enjoyed two years on the US PGA Tour in 2000 and 2001 before losing his status. Remembered for 6-iron to two feet on last hole of 1999 Ericsson Australian Masters. Biggest thrill in golf was that Masters win. All of his hometown of Colac seemed to be at Huntingdale in 1999.
