Overnight leader Mathew Webb from the PGA of GB&I
retains his spot at the top of the National Futures Championship leaderboard
after the conclusion of play on day three.

"MatthewFerocious winds caused chaos around the course with all
competitors struggling to make par.
Whilst disappointed with his own performance today, Webb’s tactical
approach to these conditions has provided him with a four shot lead going in to
the final round.

Victorian Trainee Professionals Adam Burdett and Correy
Price join Webb in the lead group both tied for second place at 9-over the card.

Burdett struggled around the greens in the morning and produced
a disappointing result of 7-over 79 in the third round. He will be hoping to
regain the consistency he demonstrated in the opening two rounds heading in to
the final day.

First year Trainee Ben Murphy relished the windy conditions
that emulated those frequently experienced at his home track, Portsea Golf Club
in Victoria. Murphy along with Queensland Trainee Garrett Skinner recorded the
best rounds of the day, finishing with a very respectable 2-over 74.

Carly Beck again highlighted why she is the top seeded
female at the National Futures Championship, producing another consistent round
to maintain 8th place on the leader board heading into the final
round.

With heavy rains predicted for the final round, Trainees
will have to work hard to make gains on Webb’s four shot lead.
