The PGA of Australia is pleased to announce a new sponsorship agreement with the On Course golf group for the PGA Trainee Program.

The On Course group was established 25 years ago to support PGA Professionals and today represents over 200 pro-shops and stores nationwide.

Through this sponsorship the On Course group will support the PGA Trainee Program. program via both tournament sponsorship and education and training support for third year PGA Trainees.

The On Course group will sponsor both the PGA National Futures Championship andeach of the four State Trainee Championships for the next three years, in addition to delivering small business related training at the National Trainee School.

"In supporting these championships, we are providing our support to the future generation of PGA Professionals," said On CourseChief Executive Officer, Geoff Zarth.

"On Course represents over two hundred PGA Professionals and this is their way of giving back to the PGA and the Professionals following behind them."

The PGA Trainee Program is a comprehensive three-year training and education program ideal for both male and female golfers who have a passionfor a career in golf.

PGA Trainees work alongside fully qualified PGA Professionals and receive practical work experience and on-the-job training.

PGA Trainees also receive nationally accredited qualifications in a variety of vocational disciplines in addition to FullVocational Membership of the PGA.
