The IMG managed Ba Na Hills Golf Club located in Danang, Vietnam’s fourth biggest city which in 2016 was voted the World’s Best New Golf Course is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Rod Marshall as its new Head PGA Professional commencing mid September.

""As a PGA teaching professional, Rod has been also a member of the Australian PGA since 1986. He spent his first 10 years as the head teaching pro at Ivanhoe Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia, followed by 10 more years as the head teaching professional at the Brighton Golf Academy also located in Melbourne.

Most recently Rod was as instructor at the VietUc Golf Academy Hanoi for the past 18 months prior to taking up his current role as Head Professional at Ba Na Hills Golf Club.

He has also spent eight years working as a golf club technician for several major companies, including, Spalding, Taylor Made, Cobra as well as Henry Griffiths. Rod has a wealth of knowledge in the area of golf club construction, as well as club fitting.

Whilst in Vietnam Rod has participated in many Vietnamese television programs sharing his golf instruction and helping to grow the game of golf in Vietnam.  Rod has a great love for the game of golf and its very long history dating back over 400 years, however teaching in a country such as Vietnam where golf has only been played for such a short period of time is bringing Rod a new level of enthusiasm for his teaching and his ability to help grow this wonderful game in Vietnam.
