A talented of field of 30 Professionals were looking to end the Ladbrokes PGA NSW/ACT Pro-Am Series season with a win at the WRI Ryde Parramatta Pro-Am.

A strong golf course and 40 degree heat would confront the players looking to fill their Christmas stocking with the $2,700 winner’s cheque.

The event which is supported by the Matthew Laverty Corporate Golf group is a great way to finish the season.

But again when conditions got tough one man showed his class. Matthew Stieger would shoot an incredible 6-under 65.

His card was blemish free which was the key to such a low round.

“I’ve come off narrowly missing my Japan Tour card but feel I’m playing well and will be heading over to Asian Tour school in two weeks. Today’s win will keep my spirits up," said Stieger.

With another fantastic score was runner up Sung Park who fired a fine 4-under 67.

The only other player to break par was Matthew Giles who shot 1-under 71 and finished outright third.

Rounding out the top-5 were Martin Dive, Anthony Summers, Nathan Green with even par 71.
