To be hosted at the picturesque Murray Bridge Golf Club, South Australia’s premier professional golf event will be played from Thursday 21st to Saturday 23rd April 2016.

As part of the Choice Hotels PGA Pro-Am Series, the tournament will be run over three days in the form of a pro-am, giving local and visiting amateurs the opportunity to tee it up with a Pro.

The $35,000 purse on offer has attracted some of Australia’s best experienced and up and coming Professional golfers.

"With a few weeks still to go, entries are looking very strong with a lot of quality players," said Cameron Davies, Southern Division Tournament Coordinator at the PGA of Australia.

Professional entries include a wealth of local talent consisting of PGA Tour of Australasia veteran Jason Norris, along with new kids on the block Max McCardle and Peter Cooke.

They will be joined by a number of interstate stars including 2013 Victorian PGA Champion David McKenzie and 2015 Southern Order of Merit winner Luke Hickman.

Murray Bridge Golf Club is no stranger to hosting PGA tournaments and the club is excited about this great new opportunity.

A partnership with the council has provided the Murray Bridge Golf Club with a great platform for future growth of the tournament.
