Katelyn Must has claimed the 2016 Steel Scene Peel Pro-Am in
Western Australia and proved that the girls can mix it with the best.

"KatelynPlaying the final round at the Cut Golf Club following the opening
round at Mandurah Country Club, Must recorded a remarkable nine birdies and
although finished with a double bogey on her final hole, the final round of 5-under
67 was enough to hold off Michael long and several other marquee players.

An initiative of Peel Tourism Organisation and the City of
Mandurah, the event offered a $22,000 purse and with that size of event, makes
the win one of the most significant victories from a female PGA Professional in
a mixed field in recent memory.

"We are thrilled to see Katelyn win this tournament and
we are proud to be able to offer these playing opportunities to both men and
women who wear the PGA badge," said Joshua Madden, State Manager of the WA/SA
Division of the PGA.

Must has won Trainee matches before but says "this win
is my first official win and it’s an amazing feeling right now".

The win is her first on the WA/SA swing presented by Subaru
of the PGA Pro-Am Series and is the first win by a female in 2016.

"I played so well on both days and the tournament here
is a great event to win," added Must who will travel to Asia in the coming
weeks to continue here competitive golf.

"It would be great to see more females out here playing
so hopefully moments like this inspire more women to become PGA Professionals"
said Must.

Only five players were able to finish under par over the 36
holes and with rounds of 69-67, Must was the only player who fired two sub-70
rounds.

Michael Long posted a 67 on the final round and finished two
shots back in outright second, with South Australian Brad Moules finishing a
further two shots back in outright third place.

The next event on the WA/SA PGA Pro-Am Series Presented by
Subaru is the Capel Pro-Am on June 1st.
