Another tournament has made its return to the Sunshine Swing of
the PGA Pro-Am Series with the Coolangatta Tweed Heads Pro-Am being
played this week for the first time since 2006.

Renowned as a tournament venue, over the years the Club has
hosted a number of significant tournaments and players with the highlight being
Gary Player winning the 1981 Coolangatta Classic.

But it was Jordan Mullaney who left his mark on the course this
year. The New South Welshman fired 7-under 65 to claim his first win on the
Sunshine Swing.

Seven birdie and an eagle was enough to see Mullaney finish one
shot head of Dale Brandt-Richards who recorded the lowest score of the
afternoon field.

 "I
didn’t get off to the best start today. But I made some good par putts early to
keep my round on track," said Mullaney.

"The kick start I needed came at my 7th hole of the day. I holed out for eagle
on the short par 4, 2nd."

"After that things just seemed to keep going my way. I’m excited
to have got my first win."

Professionals will remain on the Gold Coast over the weekend
with the Southport Pro-Am teeing off on Monday.
