Victoria’s Andrew Martin has held on to his slender one shot lead heading in to the final round of the Nexus Risk Services Southwest Open.

Whilst Bunbury Golf Club glistened in the perfect weather early in round two, WA locals Brendan Chant (67) and Braden Becker (68) were the only standout scorecards from the morning field.

James Marchesani (VIC) was clubhouse leader before the afternoon rounds just got started, with two solid rounds of 67-70 to be 7-under total.

As the sun warmed up the Clifton Park layout, Brody Martin’s (WA) game also heated up shooting another round of 67 to be on 10-under par.

“It’s great to be finally playing some good golf,” said Martin who has had mixed results in his local pro-am circuit.

Past champion and round one leader Andrew Martin still has control of his game to be out in front by one.

Chris Gray made the short par 3 10^th look simple when he holed out to record his 11^th Hole in One of his career.

The final days play will commence at 9am local time with the leading group teeing off at 10.12am, the pack will be chasing as Martin looks to win another Nexus risk Services Southwest Open.
