The Gun’s and Hoses Queanbeyan Pro-Am once again tested the professionals. The course was in magnificent condition and the greens at their slippery best.
Jumping out of the gates early was Chris Campbell who shot a 2-under 68. The former Japanese Tour player and local to the region was the only player to break par in the morning field of golfers.
Campbell’s score would be equalled by Victorian professional Andrew Martin who records his second win in the pro-am season after taking out the the Kooringal Pro-Am earlier this year.
In a tie for 3rd and the only other players to break par with 1-under 69’s were Matthew Millar (ACT), Ben Clementson (NSW) and Matthew Giles (NSW).
Daniel Dosen (VIC) and Edward Stedman (NSW) shot even par 70 for a share in 6th while Larry Austin (NSW) and Matthew Steiger (NSW) shot 1-over 71 to round out the top-10.
The next event will be on Wednesday 6th April at Yowani Golf Club.
