Cory Crawford and Deyen Lawson stole the show at the Murwillumbah Golf Club yesterday with the dynamic duo taking out the Murwillumbah Pro-Am.
Firing 4-under 67 the pair shared victory by one stroke over Dane McArdle and Brenton Parrish who were the early pace setters after a 3-under 68 as stormy conditions rolled in for the afternoon.
"It's an enjoyable course and one which avid golfers should make the trip out and play," said Lawson following his win.
"Although it got a little uncomfortable late in the day with the rain, it was a matter of being patient and not trying to do anything special over the closing holes. Luckily enough for me my 4-under par round was good enough to join Cory for the win."
Professionals will now make their way down the Pacific Highway for the Monty Conderman Memorial Grafton Pro-Am.
