""After being three shots behind heading into the final round Jordan would fire a closing 7-under 65 which would see him take victory by four shots.

Overnight leader Alex Edge got off to a shaky start with two bogeys and a double bogey in three holes early in the round. He would fight his way back to even par for the day with a fine back-9 of 3-under 33.

His total of 6-under 138 would be enough for a runner up finish. But no one could stop the in-form Jordan coming off two top-10 finishes on the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia and a joint victory at the Pullman Magenta Shores Resort Pro Am.

Jordan took the tournament and made it his own with five birdies in six holes on the back-9. His scores of 69,65 for a 10-under 134 total were made to look even better given the damp and trying conditions the players faced over the two days.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time here at this tournament. The hospitality has been amazing and I can’t thank the club and the sponsors enough," Jordan said.

“My form over the past three weeks has been really solid and I’m looking forward to the Australian Open and Australian PGA Championship in a few weeks which I’ve never played in before."

Rounding out the top five on 4-under was Dale Brandt- Richards, Mitchell Brown, Luke Whitbread and Nathan Miller.
