Professional Damien Jordan has continued his good form to claim victory in the Murwillumbah Ladbrokes PGA Pro-Am after firing 6-under par 65 to win by two shots from Mitchell Brown.

""Jordan’s round included six birdies coming at the 5th, 6th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th and an eagle on the 15th hole.

“I didn’t get off to the best start with a bogey on my first hole,” said Jordan.

“The very next hole I holed a wedge shot from 118 metres, for an eagle which made up for the poor start.

“I gave myself plenty of opportunities today. I’ve been hitting the ball really well which is certainly paying off and converting into birdies.

“I’ve been working really hard on my game and it’s defiantly paying off, I gave myself a lot of opportunities today."

The next best placed Professional was Mitchell Brown from New South Wales who fired 4-under par 67.

“I was pleased with my round today," said Brown.

“In particular I played the par 3’s really well making three birdies."

The next stop on the Ladbrokes PGA Pro-Am Series is the Conderman Family Grafton Pro-Am played Friday 6th October at the Grafton District Golf Club.
