The Kooralbyn Valley Golf Course was in fantastic condition for the 62 Professionals in the field as it played host to the Ramada Resort Kooralbyn Valley Ladbrokes PGA Pro-Am.

Professional Steven Jeffress holds a one shot lead heading into the final round currently underway.

The Gold Coast based Professional Jeffress fired a 6-under par 66 which included birdies on the 4^th, 7^th,8^th, 11^th, 12^th,13^th and 17^th holes with his only blemish a bogey on 15^th hole.

“I was really excited about playing this course again today," said Jeffress.

“It has always been such a great layout and you just know you’re going to be tested.

“I played really solid golf today, I gave myself a lot of opportunities for birdies. I did miss a 5-foot eagle putt on the 4^th hole which was disappointing and had a good chance up the last hole for birdie and didn’t convert.”

The next best placed Professional is Sunshine Coast based Professional Marcus Cain who fired a 3 –under par 69.

Professionals Damien Jordan, Brett Rankin, Blake Proverbs and Ryan Haller all finished 2-under par 70.

The final round is underway with the lead groups in the afternoon shotgun at 12.15pm local time.
