Jager leads in paradise

It’s no surprise to see Matt Jager once again is featuring on top of leaderboard in the WA swing of the Ladbrokes PGA Pro-Am Series.

""The WA born Jager , now based in Melbourne has relished coming home to the West and has once again brought his A-game with him, this time to the stunning Broome Golf Club for the Broome Open.

With five birdies and a bogey Jager carded a 4-under 68 where he made the tight layout look pretty simple to his playing partners who said after the round he definitely left a few more birdies out there.

“It was a late decision to come to the event but I’m glad I did as this place so amazing, it’s just an added bonus to play some good golf. Broome is one of a kind, credit to Billy and his team for the opportunity to be able to play an event in paradise,” said Jager.

One shot behind the leader is Southwest Open champion and in form player Brody Martin (69) with two time Broome Open champion Peter Cooke and Legends player Lyndsay Stephen on 1-under par 71.

Players will play the final round of not only the Broome Open tomorrow but also the Ladbrokes PGA Pro-Am Series WA swing.
