Paul Hayden has produced an 8-under 64 to take a two shot lead into tomorrow’s final round of the Blackwater Pro-Am.

After almost withdrawing due to illness yesterday, Hayden’s round included nine birdies, with a lone bogey coming at the 399 metre par 4 13th hole.

Tim Hart, who claimed the Middlemount Pro-Am on Sunday, continued with his run of good form after firing 6-under 66 and will be looking for his second win from his last three starts.

Hayden was surprised with his round, especially with the way he was feeling only 24 hours earlier.

"I wasn’t feeling that great yesterday, though thankfully I was able get in and see a doctor yesterday afternoon and the medication prescribed seems to have done the trick," said Hayden.

"My expectations were very low at the start of the day and possibly that is the reason why I played so well today. I am looking forward to tomorrow and hopefully Tim and I can have a good fight over the closing holes for the win."

After todays round, Hart has extended his lead to seven in the PCR Polyweld Mining Town Series, averaging almost 6-under par over the opening four rounds.
