Fantastic conditions greeted the players today for the staging of the 17^th Finco Solutions Pioneer Valley Pro-Am.
David Hando shot a 9-under par 63 to claim victory in Finco Solutions Pioneer Valley Pro-Am.

Hando’s round consisted of 11 birdies recording a 3-under par 33 on his front-9, including four birdies and a bogey followed by a 6-under par 30 on the back-9, consisting of seven birdies and the one bogey coming at the difficult 390m par 4, 14^th hole.
“I’ve been playing a number of Ladbrokes PGA Pro-Am Series events over the last two years and I am really pleased to win this event,” said Hando.

“This will give me a lot of confidence heading into Rockhampton this week and also Yeppoon the week after for the Ladbrokes PGA Legends Tour event.

“I’m really focusing on my course management at the moment and it’s paying dividends. My main focus is to not put myself in a position where I am likely to make a bogey or worse, it can be very easy to find trouble on these courses.”
The next best placed Professional is Nick Russell who played a solid round of 8-under par 64. Russell has been very consistent over the last few events, “I’m feeling really good about my game and I’m looking forward to playing well down at Rockhampton this week,” said Russell.
The next stop in the Ladbrokes PGA Pro-Am Series will be the Rockhampton Golf Club where play begins at 6:45am Thursday morning for the Ian Weigh Toyota Rockhampton Pro-Am.
