Chris Gaunt found himself one shot back after following up his opening round 65, with a 66 today, while first round leader Adam Blyth found himself in outright third and four behind Flint.

Flint’s main focus over the opening six months of the year has been in China and although he is looking to finish inside the top-5 on that Tour to gain automatic status on the Web.com Tour in the United States, he is also intent on performing well on home soil.

"I am really striking the ball well, and when you combine this with good putting, there is no doubt that you will find yourself around the top of most leaderboards. It is great to again find myself in this position and hopefully I can continue to see the putts drop over the weekend."
