Troy Cox captured the Goulburn Soldiers Pro-Am title thanks
to a career best low round.

Opening the tournament with a 62, the lowest of his career,
Cox backed-up with a 67 to secure a three shot victory over Leigh McKechnie and
Chris Gaunt who ended the tournament on 10-under the card.

It was Cox’s first win of the 2016 Choice Hotels PGA Pro-Am Series
and the victory now allows him to take on the West Australian swing of the Pro-Am
Series beginning in the next few weeks.

"I haven’t been playing that great lately so to play
well here and beat a strong field gives me great confidence heading into the
middle part of the year" said Cox.

The field was once again stellar in depth with Peter
O’Malley and Matt Millar just some of the names to take on the tight Goulburn
layout.

Following strong finishes in recent weeks including a win at
the Murrumbidgee Pro-Am on Saturday, Victorian Andrew Martin has taken the lead
in the race to the Order of Merit title.
