Victorian Rory Bourke continues to hold the field at bay as the JRT/Tropical Auto Group Southern Great Barrier Reef Golf Championship heading into the final round.

Victorian Rory Bourke continues to hold the field at bay as the JRT/Tropical Auto Group Southern Great Barrier Reef Golf Championship heading into the final round.

"RoryBourke fired a 5-under 66 in the third round, to be 18-under
the card, while his playing partner Daniel Fox matched Bourke’s round of 66 to
remain two shots adrift.

Chris Wood remains in contention after a 6-under 65 to
sit in outright 3rd, three strokes back.

Local favourite Adam Blyth will need to go low in
tomorrow’s final round if he is to claim his home event.  

Bourke has been solid all week and is looking forward to
the challenge tomorrow.

"This is the reason we play golf, to put ourselves in
contention and hopefully walk away with the victory," said Bourke.

"There is no doubt it will test my mental strength
tomorrow, but I am really looking forward to that challenge, after all the hard
work I have put in over the past few weeks."

"It has been a great week thus far no matter what the
outcomes is, it would be the icing on the cake to win here in Yeppoon
tomorrow."
