The second round of the first stage of PGA Tour of Australasia Qualifying School presented by Cobra Puma Golf has been completed across three venues.

"MatthewAt the Sandhurst Club Todd Sinnott continues to dominate the field by four shots.

He fired a second round 2-under 70 for a two round total of 8-under the card which ensures he leads the 65 man field.

At the conclusion of tomorrow’s round just the top-19 players at the Sandhurst Club will progress to final stage in 2015. The number currently required to progress is 2-over or better.

Matthew Ballard has taken the lead at Noosa Springs Golf and Spa after a solid second round of 3-under 69.

With a two round total of 5-under the card Ballard leads by three shots from Jonathon Holder, Richard Caracella, Paul Hayden and Luke Henwood.

With 54 players in the field 16 positions are available from Noosa Springs into the final stage. The number currently required is 3-over or better.   

Maintaining the top position at Riverside Oaks Golf Resort is Neven Basic following a second round of 3-under 68 to be 9-under the card.

He leads by one shot from Alex Katholos with the top-15 finishers in the 51 man field making it through to the final stage with even par or better currently required.

Please note that no ties will progress through to final stage, if required a playoff will determine final placing at each venue.
