Stephen Woodhead claimed his second win on the E-Z-GO PGA
Legends Tour this year at the Club Car Gold Coast Senior Open after the
Jandowae Legends Pro-Am in August.

""The Club Car Gold Coast Senior Open took place last
Wednesday 7th December at the Helensvale Golf Club, on a hot and
humid day, where players teed up for a share of $11,000 in prizemoney.

The Queensland based Professional made the most of his
early tee time firing a 4-under 66 to take the victory, finishing one shot
ahead of David Merriman, Craig Warren and Richard Backwell.

"I didn’t really expect to win here today when I finished
my round, so I was pretty happy to receive the phone call to make my way back
for presentations," said Woodhead.

"I played well out there today, missing only one green in
regulation.

"This is a great warm up for Byron Bay and I am looking
forward to taking this form into Friday."

The Legends are now heading south of the Queensland
border with the Australian Legends Tour Championship teeing off today 9th
December at the Byron Bay Golf Club for a purse of $37,500.
