The QLD Swing of the E-Z-GO PGA Legends Tour has moved its way from the regional communities on the Darling Downs and South Burnett to Hervey Bay for one of the marquee events on the schedule.

"TimThe Fraser Coast Classic is
one of the most popular on the swing and players such as Wayne Grady, Rodger
Davis, Mike Harwood, David Merrriman and past champions Mike Zilko and Hugh
Dolan return to compete for the $20,000 prize purse.

Defending champions Tim
Elliot and Peter Hayes will also be keen to take out the coveted title of
Fraser Coast Legends Classic Champion.

"It’s a great event that has
a very unique atmosphere. It’s fantastic to get so much support from not only
the Hervey Bay Golf Club members but also the general public that enjoy coming
to watch," said Elliot.

"There are some very high
calibre players in the field who have been competing overseas before coming
home to play these events. It should be a good contest."

The E-Z-GO PGA Legends Tour
is for professionals golfers over-50 years of age and 2015 has seen a new
generation of players come of age and looking to make their name on the Tour.

Players to look out for are
Victorian Michael Barry who has won six times in his rookie season this year
along with Glenn Joyner who along with others in the field has returned
recently from competing in the British Senior Open.

The two day tournament will
commence on Saturday 15th August with the players looking to
establish some good scores in what is expected to be good weather conditions.

Spectators are welcome and
will be able to witness some of the best senior golfers.
